Bram Van den Bergh is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Research Foundation Flanders - FWO since October 2016, conducting independent microbial evolutionary research and supervising technical staff and students at both master's and PhD levels. Prior experience includes a Visiting Researcher role at the University of Freiburg, where characterization of nuo-complex I mutants was performed, and a Postdoctoral Researcher position at KU Leuven. Bram Van den Bergh completed a PhD project on bacterial persistence contributing to chronic infectious diseases at Research Foundation Flanders - FWO from September 2011 to January 2016, following a Master’s in biosciences from KU Leuven. Additional experience includes a student role in laboratory maintenance, participation in student job positions, and involvement in organizational activities related to company relations for graduate recruitment. Educational background includes a Master’s and Bachelor's degree from KU Leuven and a high school diploma with a focus on Latin and Mathematics from Sint Jozef College Aarschot.
