Jasper de Witte

Jasper De Witte is currently an FWO fellow at Research Foundation Flanders since November 2022, focusing on scalable single-photon generators for quantum key distribution applications. As a PhD student at Ghent University since September 2020, Jasper is working on single photon sources integrated on silicon nitride. Previous experience includes an internship at ML6 in August 2019, where Jasper analyzed frameworks and models related to Automated Machine Learning, and a summer job at UGent in August 2017 involving transmission measurements for CT-scanning devices. In July 2017, Jasper attended a summer course in biomedical imaging at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Jasper holds a Master of Science in Engineering Physics from Ghent University, completed in 2020.
