Laure Vandersmissen

Laure Vandersmissen is currently a PhD Fellow at the Research Foundation Flanders, where funding is provided for research on strategic planning in international public organizations at the Department of Public Governance and Management, Ghent University. In addition to this role, Laure Vandersmissen is a Visiting Researcher at the City University of Hong Kong. Previous experience includes positions as a Doctoral Researcher and Teaching Assistant at Ghent University, an intern at the Consulate General of Belgium in New York, and an Assistant Administrative Officer at van Cronenburg. Further internships have been completed at the Research Department of Open Vld. Laure Vandersmissen's educational background includes ongoing doctoral studies at Ghent University, a Master's degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Antwerp, and a Master's in Public Administration and Management from Ghent University, among other academic qualifications in public administration, politics, and EU-Canada relations.
