Lisa Hamerlinck is a dedicated PhD fellow at the Research Foundation Flanders (FWO) since November 2022, following a role as a PhD researcher at the Center for Medical Genetics Ghent (CMGG) from December 2021 to October 2022. Previously, Lisa worked as a student researcher at VIB, specifically at the VIB-Ugent Center for Inflammation Research, from September 2020 to May 2021. Lisa holds a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Ghent University, completed between 2016 and 2021, and furthered education with a postgraduate degree in human genetics from the Belgian Society of Human Genetics (BeSHG) from October 2021 to June 2022.
