Saskia Malcorps

Saskia Malcorps serves as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Fonds Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek - Vlaanderen (FWO) since October 2022, where research centers on the impact of stress on parental mentalizing through experimental designs and ecological momentary assessment. Concurrently, Saskia holds a position as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at PraxisP, focusing on short-term psychodynamic therapy for clinical depression and personality issues. Prior experience includes a Ph.D. candidacy at KU Leuven, investigating the role of mentalizing in at-risk youth, and a visiting researcher role at Yale University's Child Study Center as a Fulbright Scholar. Educational qualifications encompass a Master’s degree in Psychology and a Postgraduate Programme in Psychological Interventions at KU Leuven.
