Marika Kangassalo has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Marika started their career at Nakkilan Yrittäjät ry in 2001, where they worked as a Project Manager. In this role, they managed the EU-funded Matkailu Nappaa project and the Elävä tori project. Their responsibilities included creating travel packages and coordinating various events and programs with local businesses, the municipality, and educational institutions.

Later on, Marika joined Eniro in 2006 as a Sales Negotiator, where they worked until 2007. Marika then joined Fonecta Oy and Fonecta Media Oy in the same year as a Customer Service Specialist and a Technical Service Specialist, respectively.
