Nguyen Tran-Ngo

Nguyen Tran-Ngo has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of product design and art direction. Currently, they hold the position of Product Designer at Fonoa, where they are responsible for building end-to-end products and solving tax challenges for well-known companies such as Uber, Netflix, Zoom, Spotify, and Booking.com. Nguyen started working at Fonoa in March 2021.

In addition to their role at Fonoa, Nguyen also takes on mentoring positions. Nguyen is a Product Design Mentor at Meander (ex Vektor AI) since April 2023 and at MentorCruise since March 2023.

Prior to these roles, Nguyen worked as a Product Designer and Art Director at nguyentran-ngo.design since April 2013. Nguyen designed the Design System platform for Thales Quantum and built a web app for 87seconds (Web App, B2C) with a high NPS score at launch.

Nguyen has also held positions at Bug Agency as a Senior Designer in 2019, where they reintroduced the agency with a focus on digital eco-responsibility, and at Australie.GAD as a Freelance Senior Art Director in 2019, where they led integrated advertising campaigns for Le BHV Marais and Aéroport Marseille-Provence.

Furthermore, Nguyen worked at Ogilvy as a Senior Art Director from October 2017 to December 2018, where they led and grew key businesses and developed multicultural creative teams. Nguyen also served as an Art Director at Phibious from October 2014 to October 2017, where they led the agency's product design portfolio and contributed to Google's first consumer-facing campaign in Vietnam.

Nguyen began their career as a Designer and Photographer at Cultural Infusion from June 2009 to June 2010.

Nguyen Tran-Ngo's education history includes earning a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Systems from RMIT University, which was completed from 2006 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Multimedia Systems at Monash University from 2010 to 2011, where they obtained their MD.
