Marit Pleune

Marit Pleune has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in supply chain management and logistics. Marit is currently working at fonQ as the Manager of Operational Excellence, a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at fonQ as a Project Manager of Process Development from April 2022 to May 2023, and as a Program Manager of Returns from September 2020 to April 2022.

Before joining fonQ, Marit worked at Oracle as a Solution Engineer in Supply Chain Management. Their role involved identifying and translating customer needs into solution capabilities and collaborating with sales representatives and partners to enhance organizational efficiency and cost savings. Marit held this position from December 2018 to September 2020.

Marit also gained experience in supply chain planning at BFG Warehousing from August 2017 to December 2018. Their responsibilities included sales and operation planning, procurement, production and distribution alignment, forecasting, and stock management. Marit focused on digitalization, automation, and developing KPI dashboards.

In addition, Marit completed a bachelor thesis at TransMission BV from February 2017 to June 2017, where they gained valuable research experience. Prior to that, they worked as a logistics support intern at Swiss Sense from June 2016 to February 2017 and as a logistics intern at Swiss Sense from August 2015 to January 2016.

Marit's work experience began with an internship in purchasing and logistics at Rijnstate from January 2014 to May 2014, providing their with foundational knowledge in these areas.

Marit Pleune completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Logistics Management from Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN) between 2013 and 2017. In addition, they pursued a minor in E-commerce & Retail Management at the same institution during 2016 and 2017. Marit further obtained a certification in Leadership Fundamentals from Lepaya in January 2023.
