Carissa Speelman, M.A. CCC-SLP, is a seasoned Speech-Language Pathologist currently serving at Leaps and Bounds since August 2015, with extensive experience in providing assessment and intervention for pediatric clients facing a range of communication disorders, including autism and dyslexia. In addition to clinical practice, Carissa Speelman holds multiple roles as an Off-Campus Clinical Instructor at several universities, contributing to the education and training of future speech-language pathologists. As the owner of Home Sweet Speech Room, Carissa Speelman creates and reviews speech and language materials, further supporting the profession. Prior experience includes working in the Northwest R-1 School District, where Carissa Speelman implemented speech services and led special education meetings.
