Libby Lyons

Libby Lyons is the owner of Lyons Counseling, L.L.C., established in January 2023, specializing in eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and related issues. Since August 2016, Libby has served as the Program Chair and Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work at Fontbonne University, where responsibilities include supervising therapist interns and coordinating mental health training. Experience includes contributions as a writer for Addiction Hope and Eating Disorder Hope, with recognition for outstanding online publications. Previous roles involve ownership of a private practice, extensive counseling in outpatient programs, and teaching positions at various universities. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Social Work from Saint Louis University and a Bachelor's in Psychology from Rockhurst University.
