Merit Mathew

Merit Mathew, Ph.D., is a Senior Research Engineer currently working at Fonterra Research and Development Centre, where they focus on optimizing cheese manufacturing processes and developing new technologies. Previously, they served as Director of New Product Development and Quality Assurance at Lipids and Flavours Private Limited, and held various roles in technical management and research, including positions at Carborundum Universal Limited and the Indian Institute of Science. Merit earned a Ph.D. in Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering from Massey University and holds a Master of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. They are a member of MNZIFST and MEngNZ.
