Kamran Khan Niazi

Kamran Khan Niazi is an experienced economist currently serving at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) since May 2024. Prior to this role, Kamran served as Research Manager at Precision Development (PxD) from August 2022 to April 2024, and held the position of Research and Evaluation at the Joint Inspection Unit of the United Nations System from December 2021 to June 2022. Kamran has also worked as a Short Term Consultant for Evidence in Governance and Politics and Worldwide Solutions in 2021 and 2019 respectively, and as a Senior Research Associate at the Center for Economic Research in Pakistan (CERP) from April 2017 to April 2019. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from the Geneva Graduate Institute (2020-2022), a Master's degree in Economics with a focus on Development and Public Policy from the Toulouse School of Economics (2012-2014), and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from The University of Manchester (2009-2012).
