Laura M. Hammett is a seasoned climate change professional with extensive experience in climate adaptation and resilience. Currently serving as a Climate Change Specialist at FAO, Laura leads the development of a report on integrating agrifood systems into National Adaptation Plans. Previously, as Adaptation Director at Tetra Tech, Laura provided strategic support for the USAID-funded Climate Adaptation Support Activity. Prior roles include leading ICF's International Climate Resilience practice, where Laura managed the business development pipeline and developed climate risk assessments, and serving as the Global Lead for Urban Climate Resilience at UNDP, designing service offerings and resilience plans. Laura's background also includes work with Circular Design Lab and various other organizations, alongside a strong academic foundation with a Master's from Yale University and a Bachelor's from the University of Virginia.
