Elizabeth Tansing has a strong background in government relations, specifically in the food and retail industries. Elizabeth started their career in 1991 as an Executive Assistant at the Association of National Advertisers. From 1995 to 1997, they worked as a Manager of State Government Relations at the Retail Industry Leaders Association. In 1997, they moved to FMI- The Food Industry Association and held various roles in state government affairs, including Manager and Senior Director before becoming the Vice President in October 2021.
Elizabeth Tansing completed their high school education at Spotsylvania High School from 1980 to 1985. Elizabeth then pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science at Radford University from 1985 to 1989.
