Laurie Gethin

Laurie Gethin has a strong background in government and education. Laurie started their career in 1983 as a Staff Assistant at the U.S. Department of Labor. From there, they moved on to work as Media Relations for the Secretary of Transportation at the U.S. Department of Transportation. In 1987, they became a Special Assistant at the U.S. Department of Education, where they worked until 1993. At that point, they joined the Food Marketing Institute as Director of Education.

Laurie Gethin attended St. Olaf College from 1977 to 1981, where they pursued a degree in English. The field of study for their degree is not specified.
