Rick Stein has a long and extensive work experience in the food industry. rick started their career at Safeway in 1988, where they served as a Category Manager and later as a Sales Manager. rick then moved up the ranks and became the Director of General Merchandise, Health, and Beauty Care for the Safeway Eastern Division from 1995 to 2001. Stein then joined Safeway Corporate in Pleasanton, CA, where they held several Vice President positions, including Strategic Planning, Corporate Marketing Operations, and Sales in the Eastern Division. rick also worked as a VP of Retail Merchandising and Marketing Execution at Safeway. In 2014, they joined FMI- The Food Industry Association as the VP of Fresh Foods. Throughout their career, Stein has demonstrated their expertise in marketing operations, sales management, and strategic planning.
Rick Stein attended the University of Maryland from 1975 to 1980, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice. During their studies, their field of study encompassed Criminal Justice, Psychology, and Business.
