Connor Phillips is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Geography at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, expected to graduate in 2025. Connor has gained valuable experience through volunteer work in Environment, Health and Safety at UNC, where weekly tasks include flushing water fixtures and taking samples. As a Co Food Donor Coordinator with the Food Recovery Network and an Associate at ALDI USA, Connor contributes to food sustainability initiatives. Additionally, Connor is a member of the Renewable Energy Special Projects Committee, assisting in the development of solar-powered bike shelters on campus. Previous experience includes serving at Ziggy's Bakery and Deli from June 2018 to August 2021.

Food Recovery Network

Food Recovery Network is a national nonprofit organization that unites and supports college students to fight food waste and hunger by recovering surplus food from their campuses and local restaurants that would otherwise go to waste and donating it to hungry Americans. The FRN National HQ is located in College Park, Maryland. Each official FRNchapter is run autonomously by student leaders on that campus.
