Julia Gerard has a strong background in conservation education and environmental management, currently serving as Program Manager for the Food Recovery Network since August 2022. Concurrently, Julia holds the position of Conservation Educator at The Walt Disney Company since January 2022, where responsibilities include inspiring guests about wildlife and promoting conservation action. Previous roles include Associate Naturalist at Beaver Lake Nature Center, Summer Camp Counselor at Bristol Hills Music Camp, and multiple AmeriCorps positions focused on natural resource management and environmental education in Cape Cod. Julia's academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Science in Conservation Biology with a minor in Applied Statistics from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry.

Food Recovery Network
Food Recovery Network is a national nonprofit organization that unites and supports college students to fight food waste and hunger by recovering surplus food from their campuses and local restaurants that would otherwise go to waste and donating it to hungry Americans. The FRN National HQ is located in College Park, Maryland. Each official FRNchapter is run autonomously by student leaders on that campus.
