Françoise de Valera

Françoise de Valera has a wealth of experience in the business world. Françoise is currently the Co-founder of Pack2Earth, S. L., a cutting edge packaging R&D&I company, and Ultra UX, S. L., a company that developed the sports app Beat Best. Prior to this, they were the Co-founder of Food Sourcing Specialists, S.L. from 2014-2021, Interim Change and Transformation Lead at Balfour Beatty plc from 2011-2013, Founder and Director of a Management Consultancy from 2010-2011, Chief Operating Officer at GSMA from 2004-2010, and Consulting Partner and Senior Change Manager at BT from 2000-2004. During their time at Balfour Beatty plc, they re-designed the existing rollout strategy to reduce programme costs and better meet the business’ needs. At GSMA, they managed a 50m GBP P and L programme with multi-million customer care, change, facilities management, procurement and BPO components, and implemented a business model and cultural change programme around integration of 150m GBP acquisition into core business. During their time at BT, they assisted senior management in finance and other blue chip clients to re-design their organisational structure to gain a 360 degree view of the customer, centralise customer service and support, and develop new service and technology-based opportunities.

Françoise de Valera obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Universidad de Granada between 1991 and 1993. Françoise then earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University between 2005 and 2006. In 2011, they obtained a PRINCE2 Practitioner certification from APMG-International. In 2012, they earned an Associate Membership from IEMA - Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment and a Certified environmental consultant (IEMA) from University of Bath. In 2014, they obtained a Nivell C certification from Departament d'Ensenyament - Generalitat de Catalunya. Additionally, Françoise de Valera obtained a Certificate from Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) in 1997.
