Amy Hauer is an experienced professional with a strong background in health, nutrition, and advocacy. Currently serving as a Research, Event, Advocacy, and Writing Intern at Food Tank, Amy previously held the position of Program Specialist for Healthy Corners at DC Central Kitchen, focusing on transforming corner stores in Washington D.C. Additional experience includes coordinating kitchen operations for the American Heart Association’s cooking programs, working as a Science Writer for Psychedelic Passage, and contributing to organic farming practices with WWOOF-USA®. Amy’s educational background includes a Master's of Health Sciences in Mental Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from McGill University.
