Lana Guardo

Lana Guardo is an experienced organizer with a strong background in environmental justice and community outreach. Currently serving as the New York Organizer at Food & Water Watch since May 2014, Lana coordinates grassroots public education campaigns and develops strategic plans for community coalitions. Previous roles include Lead Canvasser for Make the Road NY, where outreach efforts in Sandy-affected areas were conducted, and Regional Organizer for Greenpeace's Student Network, supporting college student-led environmental initiatives. Lana also held leadership positions, such as President of CCNY Green, where successful campaigns for sustainable procurement policies were launched. An educational background in Environmental Justice from Macaulay Honors College and The City College of New York complements extensive experience in environmental advocacy and community engagement.
