Daniel King has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Daniel started their career as an Event Assistant for the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose from 1998 to 2010. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Community Relations Representative/Driver for Familiar Surroundings Home Care. In 2013, they completed a Student Internship in Catering at Crunch Catering, where they gained skills in food preparation, menu development, and event logistics. Daniel then worked as a Teacher's Assistant at San Jose State University in 2015, grading assignments and providing support to students. During the same year, they also did a Student Internship as a Bartender at The Domain Hotel, focusing on customer engagement and developing a seasonal cocktail menu. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Multi-Unit Cafe Manager at Bon Appétit Management Company, responsible for day-to-day operations, budgeting, and employee management. Finally, they joined Fooda in 2018 as Director of Operations, where they focused on optimizing operations, creating action plans, leading client meetings, and utilizing analytics to improve food programs. Throughout their career, Daniel has consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences.
Daniel King received their Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Tourism & Event Management with an emphasis on Food and Beverage from San Jose State University. Daniel attended the university from 2011 to 2015.
