Lindsay Shields is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in budgeting and financial planning. Currently serving as the Director of Planning & Budgeting at Food Bank For New York City since December 2022, Lindsay previously held multiple roles at The Metropolitan Museum of Art from January 2016 to November 2022, culminating in the position of Senior Manager of Budgeting. Prior experience includes positions at Gynuity Health Projects as Grants & Contracts Manager, at New York State Health Foundation as Grants Assistant, and at Girls Inc. as Institutional Giving Assistant. Food Bank For New York City has been the city’s major hunger-relief organization working to end hunger throughout the five boroughs for more than 30 years. Nearly one in five New Yorkers relies on Food Bank for food and other resources. Food Bank’s nutrition education programs and services empower more than 50,000 children, teens and adults to sustain a healthy diet and active lifestyle on a low budget.
