Saima Islania

Saima Islania has extensive experience in category development and procurement, currently serving as a Category Development Buyer for Indirects at Foodbuy UK & Ireland since October 2021, following a role in the Future Leaders Programme focusing on food and facilities management services. Prior experience includes a position as an Insurance Audit Graduate Trainee at KPMG UK and undergraduate research roles at the University of Surrey, where Saima worked on a sustainable energy project and published research on student participation. Additional internships at Compass Group provided exposure to HR, tax, and finance functions. Saima Islania holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Surrey and is pursuing a Master’s level qualification from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply.
