Christo van Wyk

Christo van Wyk has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Christo is currently serving as the Commercial Vice President at Foodics since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Investor & Special Advisor at Seed South Capital, where they supported the Managing Partners and acted as a board IC member. In their role as the Chief Operating Officer at Jumla, they led multiple teams and was responsible for planning and executing growth strategies. Christo also served as the Chief of Staff at Jumla, where they handled cross-functional leadership responsibilities. Christo has also worked as the Commercial Vice President at Eat App, where they were responsible for revenue growth and global expansion. Additionally, they have held various roles at Meltwater, including Global Talent Acquisition, Regional Commercial Director, Client Experience Director, Head of Customer Success, Senior Account Manager, and Sales Consultant, where they gained experience in sales, customer success, and operations.

Christo van Wyk completed a Diploma in Global Business, Business Administration & Management, General at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued a BComm Hons at Stellenbosch University from 2004 to 2008. Christo also completed courses on Crypto, NFT, Blockchain & DAOs at Nas Academy in 2022, and a Digital Marketing course at GetSmarter in 2011. Their secondary education was obtained at Hoërskool Paarl Gimnasium from 1999 to 2003.
