Program Development Specialist at Foodlink

Ebony Eli has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Starting in 2016, they worked as a Caterer at Brick City Catering until 2017. During this time, they also gained experience as a Cashier & Sales Associate at Dollar Tree Stores. In 2017, they joined AmeriCorps NCCC as a Corps Member. Ebony then transitioned to roles at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), where they worked as a Student from 2015 to 2020. Within RIT, they took on additional responsibilities as a Research and Teaching Assistant from 2017 to 2020, and as a Student Manager from 2017 to 2019. In 2019, they worked as a Hostess at The Melting Pot Restaurants and as a Nonprofit Event Planning and Marketing Intern at Causewave Community Partners. Ebony also gained customer service experience as a Customer Service Cashier & Server at RIT Dining Services from 2015 to 2019. Most recently, starting in 2020, they joined Foodlink. Ebony began as a Curbside Market Operator until 2021 and eventually transitioned to the role of Community Health Programs Coordinator from 2021 to 2022. Currently, Ebony Eli works as a Community Health Initiatives Specialist at Foodlink.

Ebony Eli attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Sociology. In addition to their degree, they have also pursued additional certifications. In June 2018, they completed a First Aid with CPR and AED certification from Gila Regional Medical Center. Furthermore, in May 2021, Ebony obtained a certification in Mental Health First Aid, although the institution providing this certification is unknown.
