Camille Ampey has held various roles in the education and research fields since 2017. In 2018, they were a Vice Chair of Internal Affairs for the Duke Honor Council, a Teacher for the Unite Lebanon Youth Project, a Policy & Advocacy Intern for the International Center for Research on Women (ICRW), and a Research Assistant for the Identity and Diversity Lab at Duke University. In 2019, they were a Research Assistant for the Duke Center for Child and Family Policy. In 2020, they were a Corps Member for Teach for America Baltimore and an Elementary Teacher for Baltimore City Public Schools. Camille earned a “Highly Effective” rating (highest mark) on formal classroom observations and lead team meetings quarterly to assess student data and strategize around unit planning and resource creation. In 2022, they will be a Product Manager for FoodLogiQ.

Camille Ampey attended Duke University from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Studies. Camille is currently enrolled at Johns Hopkins University School of Education, where they are pursuing an Elementary Certification. In addition, they have obtained certifications from Udemy and LinkedIn, including Become a Product Manager | Learn the Skills & Get the Job, Python Programming for Data Science and Machine Learning, and Introduction to STATA 15.
