Aonghus Shortt

Aonghus Shortt has worked in the technology industry since 2008. Aonghus began their career as a PhD Student at the Electricity Research Centre at UCD. In 2013, they became a Data Scientist at Electroroute, where they built machine learning and optimization models for electricity market price prediction and built reporting front and back-ends. In 2016, they became the Founder & CEO of FoodMarble, a company that helps people measure the digestive process to overcome chronic digestive conditions.

Aonghus Shortt completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Power Systems Engineering at University College Dublin in 2013. Aonghus obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution in 2008. Prior to that, they attended St Mac Daras Community College. In 2014, they obtained a Data Analysis certification from Coursera.
