Arjan Tervoort

Arjan Tervoort has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Since 2022, they have been the Global Director of Research & Development at Foodmate B.V. Prior to this, from 2018 to 2022, they worked as an R&D Manager at JBT Corporation. Between 2012 and 2017, Arjan was the Owner of Sohei BV, where they focused on importing and selling Japanese cultural goods, as well as offering workshops and training. Arjan also served as the Owner of Yamabushi BV from 2004 to 2017, and Proioxis BV, a holding company for Yamabushi BV and Sohei BV, during the same period. In addition, from 2009 to 2012, they were the Owner of Sohei Trading VOF, another company specializing in importing and selling Japanese cultural goods. Furthermore, Arjan owned Yamabushi VOF from 2002 to 2004, and Yamabushi from 2001 to 2002.

Arjan Tervoort completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences, graduating in 2004. Arjan pursued further education in 2021, completing a program in Teamleadership from de Baak. Additionally, in 2020, Arjan Tervoort attended SUAS - A Schouten & Nelissen Company for a course in Leading Professionals, specializing in Engineering/Industrial Management.
