Rik Wijnhorst

Rik Wijnhorst has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Rik started their career at Rubber Design bv in 1994, where they worked as a Sales Engineer. In this role, they started as a layout engineer for flexible suspension exhaust gas systems and eventually took on additional responsibilities such as purchasing and project management. In 2001, they joined DRIE-D bv as a Sales Engineer, where they remained until 2008. During their time at DRIE-D bv, they specialized in sales engineering. In 2008, they joined Foodmate B.V. as the General Manager. In this role, they successfully coordinated various departments involved in production, pricing, sales, and distribution of products and services. Rik also demonstrated excellent people management skills and a commercial approach to problem-solving. Rik Wijnhorst currently holds the position of Operations Director at Foodmate B.V., a role they assumed in November 2021. Rik was recently promoted to the role of Global Product & Marketing Director, starting in October 2022.

Rik Wijnhorst attended MTS Zuid werktuigbouw from 1989 to 1994, where they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in the field of Engineering.
