Ben Deda

Ben Deda has a long and varied work experience. Ben began their career in 2003 as the Executive Officer for Weapons Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines. In 2004, they became the Commanding Officer for Support Company, 1st Marine Regiment. From 2005 to 2008, they held the roles of Executive Officer and Operations Officer for Recruiting Station Denver, USMC. From 2008 to 2012, they worked at TruStile Doors, where they were the Vice President of Commercial Sales, Director of Business Development, Director of Commercial Marketing, and Plant Manager of the Wood Door Plant. From 2012 to 2017, they were the Vice President of Sales and Business Development for FullContact Inc. From 2014 to 2017, they were the COO and Executive Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Galvanize Inc. From 2017 to 2018, they were the VP of Marketing for Vertafore. In 2018, they became the CEO and COO of FoodMaven. Ben is currently a Veteran Fellow at The Hoover Institution, Stanford University, beginning in 2022.

Ben Deda completed a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 2001. Ben then went on to earn an MBA from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business in 2011.
