Melissa Nuñez Gomez

Melissa Nuñez Gomez has a diverse work experience spanning different companies and roles. Melissa started their career in 2012 at Colombina, where they worked as a Planeador Gestion Demanda, analyzing sales data and forecasting future sales. Melissa also held the position of Ejecutiva Institucional, where they negotiated with high-volume clients and developed the institutional channel within the ice cream department.

In 2014, Melissa joined DIRECTV as a Senior de Planeacion del abastecimiento, ensuring proper inventory supply. Melissa collaborated with other departments to define subscriber forecasts and suggested figures that would not disrupt the supply chain.

Melissa then joined Kellogg Company in 2016 as a Material planning supervisor, where they focused on material procurement and inventory management. Melissa later became the Customer Service Modern Trade head, ensuring excellent customer service by timely deliveries, effective communication, and accurate billing. Finally, they worked as a Customer Marketing Specialist, generating strategies and promotions to drive sales in the traditional channel for Kellogg and Pringles.

Currently, Melissa is working at Foodology Inc as the Head supply Colombia y Peru, responsible for managing the supply operations in both countries. Prior to this role, they held positions as Procurement growth and Jefe compras y logística.

Through their work experience, Melissa has developed a strong background in supply chain management, procurement, demand analysis, and customer service.

Melissa Nuñez Gomez began their education journey in 2005 at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where they pursued a degree in Ingenieria Industrial, specializing in Ingeniería industrial. Melissa completed their studies at this institution in 2011. In 2013, Melissa enrolled in a Curso Logística y Control de Inventario at Universidad de Los Andes. Melissa completed this course in the same year, which focused on the field of Logística y control de inventarios. Most recently, in 2020, Melissa attended ILSC Education Group, where they obtained a certificate in Ingles Intermedio - Alto. It is worth noting that no specific field of study was mentioned for this last qualification.
