Camilo Sanchez Cabrales

Camilo Sanchez Cabrales has a diverse work history spanning various industries and roles. Camilo started their career as a Corporate Trader at Banco de Bogotá in 2002 and later became a Derivatives Trader at Banco Davivienda. Camilo then joined Banco de Bogotá again as a Senior Forex and Derivatives Trader, where they were responsible for the bank's forex trading strategy and derivatives portfolio. In 2008, Camilo became the Managing Director at Tradition Securities and Futures in Colombia, where they led operations and strategic management for Compagnie Financière Tradition.

In 2014, Camilo ventured into entrepreneurship and founded Subway - INSUB, a company dedicated to expanding Subway in Colombia. Camilo served as the Founder and Managing Partner, overseeing the company's overall performance, growth, and strategy.

Camilo's experience in the retail industry continued when they joined Uber in 2018 as the Head of Retail Operations in the Andean Region. Camilo then transitioned to the role of Head Center of Excellence & Process Excellence Lead | Spanish LatAm, providing executive leadership to a 600+ team responsible for customer support in Latin America.

Currently, Camilo holds a leadership position at foodpanda, where they are the Head of Live Operations APAC. Additionally, they will assume the role of APAC Director of Service Operations in January 2023.

Camilo Sanchez Cabrales holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Universidad de Los Andes. In addition, they completed minors in Business Administration and Management, as well as Contemporary History, from the same university. Camilo also obtained certifications as a COPC Implementation Leader from COPC Inc. and in Leadership & Strategy from Harvard Business School Online in 2020.
