Phil Soran

Phil Soran has over 10 years of experience in various leadership roles. Phil began their career in 2012 as a Director at HelpSystems, LLC. In 2013, they became the Lead Outside Director at Piper Sandler & Co. Phil was also a Member Board of Trustees at the University of Minnesota Foundation from 2014-2017. During this time, they were also the Executive Chairman of Flipgrid, a company that was sold to Microsoft in 2018. In 2017, they became a Member Board of Trustees at the University of St. Thomas. In 2018, they became a Director at Spineology Inc. and a Director at Claros Technologies Inc. in 2019. Their current role is as Director at Origina, a position they have held since 2022.

Phil Soran obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Mathematics Teacher Education from the University of Northern Colorado in 1978. In 2017, they completed the Directors Consortium at the Executive Education / Stanford Graduate School of Business.
