Alex Muresan

Alex Muresan is the current VP Engineering at Foodsmart. Alex has previously worked as a Senior Software Engineer at if(we) from August 2008 to April 2014, where they were responsible for leading iOS technical development, designing the architecture, and shipping the social discovery apps Sidewalk and Swoon. Alex also implemented and shipped the Instant Messaging feature, Message Center, and Buddy list. In addition, they were responsible for assessing key strategic acquihires and identifying top talent. Prior to if(we), Alex worked as a Software Engineer at AOL from July 2006 to August 2008, where they developed the front-end UI and RPC work for mail management UI features, as well as various components for Contacts. Alex also increased site efficiency and performance by eliminating unnecessary RPC calls and re-working UI widgets for less overhead and improved memory management.

Alex Muresan has a BS in Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Their manager is Jason Langheier, Founder & CEO. They are on a team with David Ashley - Executive Clinical Director, Jared Scharen - VP Growth, and Caroline Leeds - VP Telenutrition Network.
