Benjamin Shea began their career in 2015 as a Python Programmer at the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research. In 2016, they joined DaVita Kidney Care as a Redwoods Summer Analyst in Revenue Operations. Benjamin then moved to the Department of Medicine: Statistics Core as an Assistant Statistician. In 2017, they returned to DaVita Kidney Care as a Senior Analyst in Financial Strategy and Special Projects. In 2021, they joined Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health as a Teaching Fellow for Core Principles of Biostatistics and Epidemiology and a Summer Instructor for Introduction to Machine Learning and Introduction to Python. Benjamin also joined Foodsmart as a Clinical Data Scientist and a Clinical Data Analyst Intern.
Benjamin Shea obtained their High School Diploma from Bellarmine College Preparatory in 2013. Benjamin then attended the University of California, Los Angeles from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Statistics. Currently, they are attending Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, where they are pursuing a Master of Science in Health Data Science, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
