Kate Schlag, MPH, RD has worked in the field of nutrition since 2013. Kate began as a Graduate Research Assistant at UC Berkeley School of Public Health in 2013, and then became a Research Fellow at Sutter Health in 2014. Also in 2014, they were a Graduate Student Instructor at UC Berkeley. In 2015, they were a Dietetic Intern at OHSU | Oregon Health & Science University, and in 2016 they were a Registered Dietitian at UCSF Medical Center. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Nutrition Science Analyst at Munchery and Giant Eagle, Inc., respectively. In 2019, they became the Director and Senior Manager of Clinical Operations at Foodsmart.
Kate Schlag, MPH, RD has a comprehensive education history. Kate obtained a BA in Neuroscience from the University of Southern California in 2011. Kate then went on to complete a Master's degree in Public Health from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California in 2013. Following this, they earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Public Health Nutrition from the University of California, Berkeley in 2015. In 2016, they completed a Dietetic Internship from Oregon Health & Science University. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, National Restaurant Association, and California Department of Public Health.
