Experience Design Director at Foolproof

Alix Craig has extensive work experience in the field of user experience design. They are currently serving as the Experience Design Director at Foolproof, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this role, Alix was the Principal User Experience Designer at Foolproof from November 2021 to February 2023.

Before joining Foolproof, Alix worked at Made by Tottenham as an Advisory Board Member starting in October 2022. In this role, they contribute to driving the vision and strategy of the initiative, supporting the local creative community, and ensuring a sustainable legacy.

Previous to that, Alix was the Head of Product at Paperchase from June 2021 to November 2021. They led the digital product design and engineering teams, overseeing the strategic and product design direction for customer experience across all digital products.

Alix also had a significant role at Farfetch, where they first served as a Platform Product Designer from August 2016 to June 2018, and then as a Senior Platform Product Designer from June 2018 to March 2020. They were responsible for designing user-friendly back-office products and tools and played a key role in repositioning and redesigning legacy applications.

Earlier in their career, Alix worked as a User Experience Designer at EPAM Systems from March 2016 to August 2016, designing experiences for various devices. They also held the position of Associate Experience Designer at EPAM Systems from October 2014 to March 2016.

Alix's work experience began in 2012 as a Press Intern: Menswear Specialist at TRACE PUBLICITY.

Alix Craig attended St Marys College, Middlesbrough from 2008 to 2010, where they pursued a general course in Art/Art Studies. Alix then enrolled at Northumbria University from 2010 to 2014 and completed a degree in Fashion Design with Marketing, specializing in Fashion/Apparel Design.
