Ashley Avery

Ashley Avery is a partner at Foot Anstey LLP, where since November 2021, expertise has been concentrated on data privacy, technology, and non-contentious intellectual property matters, alongside a senior commercial role in the Private Equity sector. Previously, at Travers Smith from September 2008 to November 2021, Ashley advanced from trainee solicitor to senior counsel, specializing in technology, IP, and data protection, and providing guidance on intricate data privacy issues across various sectors. Early professional experiences include secondments at Ambassador Theatre Group and Deliveroo, focusing on commercial and data protection matters, respectively. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology and Anthropology from the University of Cambridge and completed legal education at BPP Law School.
