Monica Escamilla

Monica Escamilla is a Senior Photographer at Foot Locker, with a diverse background in photography spanning several years. Since October 2018, Monica has operated as a self-employed Professional Photographer, collaborating with commercial and editorial clients to develop photographic branding and visual marketing strategies. Experience includes working as a Camera & Lighting Grip for various companies in advertising, entertainment, and tech since September 2016, and serving as an Adjunct Photography Instructor at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts from February 2022 to July 2024. Additionally, Monica contributed to Richmond Magazine as a photographer from October 2016 to July 2024, specializing in creative direction and lighting for photography. Previous roles include E-commerce Retoucher at NSTO in 2020 and an internship at Double Image Studio, LLP from November 2014 to May 2015. Monica holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Virginia Commonwealth University, completed between 2014 and 2017.
