Tyler Nguyen is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Global Leader of Application & Platform Security, Cyber Intelligence & Incident Management & TVM at Foot Locker since August 2024. Prior to this role, Tyler held the position of Senior Director of CyberSecurity Strategy at Balance Theory, providing CISO advisory services and defining product requirements for development teams. Tyler's extensive experience in the security domain includes serving as Head of Security Engineering for a Fortune 500 retailer, where significant advancements in departmental strategy were achieved, and previously as Senior Manager and Manager of Information Security, focusing on root cause analysis and IT relationship management. Earlier career highlights include serving as Senior Director at Coastal Cloud, managing solution design and client satisfaction, and transforming financial models at Pixel Optics Inc as Senior Manager of Financial Analysis and Strategy. Tyler holds an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with a concentration in Finance and Management Information Systems from the University of Virginia.
