Paul Martyn currently serves as the UEFA Europa League Volunteer Manager, responsible for recruiting and training approximately 500 volunteers for the UEFA Europa League Final in Dublin, scheduled for May 22, 2024. With extensive experience in football, Martyn has been a High Performance National Coach Educator for the Football Association of Ireland since January 2006, where responsibilities include coaching education for UEFA licence courses and coaching the Ireland Women's U16 National Team. Additionally, Martyn has contributed to grassroots education, development, and volunteer coordination. Previous roles include Volunteer Manager at UEFA EURO 2020 in Dublin and Head Coach for the Men's 11 aside Football team at Special Olympics, achieving multiple medals in international competitions. Martyn began a career in IT as a Helpdesk Analyst at An Post from 1997 to 2006 and holds educational credentials from OLM Drimnagh (1977-1983).
