Shane O'Brien

Shane O'Brien is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Parkinson's Ireland. Previously, Shane held the title of Elite Referee at the Football Association of Ireland. Shane has also worked as a Senior Tax Manager at the Irish Tax Institute and as a Tax Manager at Epilepsy Ireland. In addition, Shane has experience as a Tax Analyst at Glen Dimplex and as a Tax Senior at Grant Thornton LLP. Shane has educational background in accounting and finance, having completed a B.A. (Hons) in Accounting from Technological University of the Shannon, Athlone Campus. Shane is also a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser.
