Stephen Rice

Stephen Rice is an experienced football coach currently serving as the Republic of Ireland U21 Assistant Coach and Chief Scout & Opposition Analyst for the Republic of Ireland Senior Men’s Team at the Football Association of Ireland since August 2021. Stephen has a strong background in player development, having held various coaching roles, including U23 Senior Professional Development Coach at Crystal Palace Football Club and Under-19 and U17 Head Coach at Shamrock Rovers F.C. Additionally, Stephen contributed to the Irish Sports Council as a tutor for mandatory workshops and served as a Platelet Ambassador for the Irish Blood Transfusion Service. A former player in the Airtricity League, Stephen possesses significant qualifications, including a UEFA Pro-Licence and a Master's in Coaching & Science from University College Dublin.
