Gary Evans

Gary Evans currently serves as the Head of Education and YDP-PDP Coach at Shrewsbury Town FC since May 2025. With extensive experience in coaching and education, Gary has held various roles at Wrexham AFC, including Interim Coach for the Women's First Team and Head Coach for the U19s Women's team, among others. Additionally, Gary has been a Coach Educator and Mentor with the Football Association of Wales since February 2023. Previous positions include coaching roles at Tranmere Rovers FC and Oswestry School, along with a background in physical education and sport. Gary holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Education with QTS from the University of Buckingham and a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Sciences from Wrexham University.
