Steve Connelly

Steve Connelly is an experienced technology leader with a diverse background in IT management across various sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Technology at Football Foundation since August 2022, Steve has held significant roles such as Interim Head of Technology Systems and Services at Crisis and Chief Information Officer at International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), where responsibilities included developing global IT strategies for a federation operating in over 150 countries. Previous positions include Head of IT at the Institute of the Motor Industry and Head of IS/IT at Hestia Housing & Support, demonstrating a consistent track record of managing comprehensive IT functions and leading technology improvements. Steve's early career featured roles in project management and operations at notable companies including Cable & Wireless and the National Farmers Union. Steve holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry & Chemical Technology from the University of Bradford.
