Jose Miguel Ruiz

Jose Miguel Ruiz is an experienced professional with a strong background in quality improvement, grant writing, and program development. Currently serving as the Quality Improvement Manager at Foothill Family since March 2019, Ruiz previously held positions including Executive Administrator & Development at Farmworker Institute of Education & Leadership Development (FIELD, Inc.), where responsibilities included overseeing grant teams and managing key partnerships. Prior experience includes working as an Applied Social Scientist at Operation HOPE, Inc., and as a Researcher at Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, among others. Ruiz holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California and has a diverse educational background in mental health rehabilitation and psychology.
