Michael Lin

Michael Lin is an experienced Information Technology professional with a strong background in managing IT infrastructure and strategy across various organizations. Currently serving as the Information Technology Manager at Foothill Family since July 2020, Michael oversees IT operations for 300 users across 8 locations, focusing on VMware, SAN, VDI technology, and cloud services. Prior experience includes a 22-year tenure at the University of Southern California, where Michael held multiple leadership roles, including Director of Information Systems for ITS Academic Systems and the Enrollment Services Division, where responsibilities included IT strategy, budget management, and support for over 600 end users. Earlier in the career at AISI Inc, Michael served as Chief Engineer, coordinating R&D projects and supervising engineering staff. Michael holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Loyola Marymount University.
