Jhune Carlo Barrientos RRT-NPS is an experienced respiratory care professional with a background spanning over a decade in various healthcare settings. Foothill Regional Medical Center is a fully accredited acute care hospital, licensed for 177 beds—120 beds for general acute care, 15 intensive care beds and 42 pediatric sub-acute beds. Our pediatric sub-acute unit, just one of six in California, serves patients from throughout the state. We care for patients up to 21 years of age who need long-term sub-acute care including ventilator care and nutritional support. Foothill Regional Medical Center serves a very diverse community and has multilingual capability. We utilize a live Video Interpretation System for our patients. This system enables our patients to receive information about their care through on-screen live interpreters and has the capability to communicate in 120 languages, including American Sign Language. If the information is technical, it can be typed on the screen to help ensure patients understand the instructions.
