Director Of Clinical Outreach at Footprints to Recovery

Alia Green, MA, NCC (She/Her) has extensive work experience in the mental health field. Alia is currently serving as the Associate Director of Clinical Outreach at Footprints to Recovery since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Clinical Outreach Specialist at the same organization from May 2019 to December 2022.

Before joining Footprints to Recovery, Alia worked at Eating Recovery Center. Alia held various roles including Patient Engagement and Outreach Specialist for the Binge Eating Treatment and Recovery Program from March 2018 to December 2018. Alia also served as an Alumni/Family Liaison at Eating Recovery Center in Chicago and Cincinnati from September 2014 to February 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Milieu Coordinator in the Partial Hospitalization Program from November 2013 to September 2014.

Alia also has experience as a Therapist in Private Practice at Stepping Stone Counseling, LLC from May 2013 to September 2014. Alia has worked with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and substance abuse among other challenges.

Alia'swork experience also includes roles as a Clinical Counseling Intern at CareNet Counseling, LLC from August 2011 to August 2012, and a Practicum Intern at Regis University Counseling Lab from August 2011 to December 2011.

Prior to their work in the mental health field, Alia served as a Volunteer Victim Advocate at Arapahoe County Sheriffs Office from November 2010 to July 2011. Alia also has experience in the corporate sector, having worked as a Client Services Consultant at eCollege from November 2005 to February 2007, a Marketing Coordinator at Hypoguard from December 2001 to September 2005, and an Event Coordinator at ADC Telecommunications from June 2000 to August 2001.

Throughout their career, Alia Green has accumulated diverse experience and honed their skills in clinical outreach, therapy, and counseling.

Alia Green, MA, NCC (She/Her) earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Following their undergraduate studies, they went on to pursue a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Counseling Psychology at Regis University, completing their studies from 2009 to 2012.

In addition to their academic achievements, Alia has obtained various certifications in their field. In August 2012, they became a Registered Psychotherapist through the Colorado Division of Registrations. Alia also holds the title of National Certified Counselor (NCC) since June 2012, granted by the National Board of Certified Counselors.
